Grizzly is a music producer who’s being held in a cage in northern Germany. Seven years ago he got into the habit of producing his own mash-up tracks adding metal guitars and drums to the vocals of Destiny’s Child and similar pop phenomena.
He immediately got adopted by a growing audience of metalheads and, uhm, Tokio Hotel, who continuously order remixes from se beast.
He spends all the money on more guitars and food. We’re afraid he’ll never stop.

Dearling Physique is a Minneapolis Pop Dream. A hybrid of mysterious, sensual rhythms; a soundtrack for the dark untraveled corners hidden beneath the gentle reflections of a pulsating metropolis… such is their musical landscape. Avant-garde but accessible, dark yet uplifting, singer and artist Domino Davis manipulates genres, effortlessly gliding between ambient sounds and electronica, from alternative pop to soul, while defying preconceived notions of conventional music.
We hope that one day we’ll share a stage. HA!
Until then, here’s Domino’s remix of “cessation”

The “Stillation Africulturban et Matador RMX” is crowned by a rap in Wolof and French!
Stillation Africulturban et Matador RMX by NOISEAUX
Matador, winner of the “sunu music awards 2010″ (among many other awards) is one of the pioneers of hip hop in Senegal. A hardcore rapper and spoken word artist with more than 20 years experience in Hip Hop music, Matador is also co-founder and chairman of “Africulturban“, a grass-roots movement to promote Hip Hop culture in order to encourage and empower the youth of Dakar’s outskirts to use creativity as a means of expression.
I had a chance to visit Africulturban and play a festival hosted by the organization and Matador, with the afro-german ladies allstar group “Sisters” in Pikine, two years ago. I am deeply impressed by Africulturban‘s work, creativity and involvement in Senegal’s urban youth and music culture.

And Check out Africulturban‘s own producer, manager and festival curator Amadou Fall Ba:
“Jeunesses Musicales International” write:
“A pillar of the hip hop movement in Senegal, Amadou Fall Ba works with the organization Africulturban operates out of the Africulturban Community Center (Complexe Léopold Senghor) in Pikine, a suburb of Dakar, offering performance space, support and education for the up and coming hip-hop generation of Dakar. http://africulturban.org/“ and coordinates the global hip hop festival Festa2H, an annual showcase of top local and international acts, break dancing, slam poetry, DJs, and graffiti artists.
